Privacy
What we collect
- Aggregate page views. A counter is incremented when a page loads so we can show "trending this week" sections. No IP address, cookie, or user identifier is stored alongside the view.
- Newsletter subscriptions. If you submit your email to the newsletter, we store the email and a created-at timestamp. We use it only to send the newsletter you signed up for and never sell or share the list.
- Reader accounts (optional). If you create an account to save bookmarks, we store the email address you signed up with via our authentication provider.
- Comments (when submitted). If you submit a comment, we store the comment body, your display name, and an optional account reference. Comments are held for editorial approval before they appear publicly.
What we don't do
We don't run third-party advertising trackers. We don't sell email addresses. We don't store personally-identifying information alongside reader polls — poll responses are aggregated counts only, with no link back to the person who voted.
